Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Controller for on-site assignments in Spain. The role focuses on cost control, cost estimation and financial close support across real estate and infrastructure projects. Fluency in Spanish and English (B2) and 5+ years in construction cost control are required; hotel renovations experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing the project cost estimate
• Assist in preparing the Project Cost Plan
• Responsible for cost control
• Plan payments and collections
• Report on the status of project costs
• Review payment certificates and issue the Payment Request to the client
• Manage Project Change Orders
• Assist in defining contract closings and the contract with the client
• Support the project’s financial close
• Manage deviations from the contract
• Manage claims and the legal implications of the contract with government entities

• Assists in preparing the project cost estimate
• Assists in preparing the Project Cost Plan
• Responsible for cost control
• Plans payments and collections
• Reports on the status of project costs
• Reviews payment certifications and issues the Payment Request for submission to the client
• Manages Project Change Orders
• Assists in defining contract closings and the contract with the client
• Supports the project’s financial close
• Manages potential deviations from the contract
• Manages claims and the legal implications of the contract with government entities

Qualifications

• Education: Architecture, Building Engineering, Technical Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Languages: Spanish and English (minimum B2 level).
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in construction cost control. but experience in hotel renovations is desirable. Knowledge of cost estimation.
• Work Location: On-site at project locations and/or client offices.
