Turner & Townsend’s Cost Management division in Spain seeks a qualified Cost Manager to join the team in Pamplona on-site five days a week. You will work across cost estimation, planning, tendering and post-contract reporting to support major pharmaceutical clients on large, technical projects.

Fluency in Spanish and English, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential in this role, located on site in Pamplona.

Formación

• A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full construction project lifecycle.
• Fluent in Spanish and business level English.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
• Manage pre- and post-contract duties: cost estimates, procurement, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
• Prepare cost plans and present final cost analyses.
• Lead tendering processes: pre-qualification, tender lists, analyses, and contract documentation.
• Ensure timely, accurate cost checks and valuations.

Job Description

Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division in Spain requires suitably qualified and experienced Cost Manager to join our team in Pamplona.

Job Objectives

• Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally
• Manage pre and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
• Estimate and cost plan to include producing and presenting the final cost plan
• Tender and procure, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents
• Take responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuations
• Produce monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
• Interface with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes
• Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts

Note that this position requires to be on site 5 days a week in Pamplona.
