Turner & Townsend in Madrid is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join our team on large-scale real estate and infrastructure programmes. The role focuses on leading multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with client objectives.

The candidate will drive governance, risk management, and procurement strategies while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, Technical Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Approx.10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager in construction, office, logistics/industrial, or similar projects.
• Understanding of the project life cycle from inception to completion and post-project review.
• Familiar with main project management concepts, tools and techniques.
• Familiar with MS Project, office productivity tools, and BIM platforms.
• Fluent in Spanish and English at least B3.
• Willingness to travel to project locations occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the project team daily and coordinate all activities.
• Ensure client objectives and Turner & Townsend standards are met.
• Define project development strategy with Client and Project Director.
• Identify and implement project-specific procedures for delivery.
• Act as primary client contact, communicating progress and developments.
• Establish and manage communication with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System throughout the lifecycle.
• Define, monitor and control the project cost plan and schedule.
• Define and manage project meetings and governance strategy.
• Prepare and update Monthly Project Status Reports for client and leadership.
• Coordinate with the team to gather information for final evaluation of contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the project team on a daily basis and coordinate all team activities.
• Be responsible for achieving both client objectives and Turner & Townsend project delivery standards.
• Propose and define the project development strategy in coordination with the Client and the Project Director.
• Identify and implement any project-specific procedures required for successful delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining continuous communication regarding project progress and key developments.
• Establish and manage communication channels with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Turner & Townsend’s Quality Management System throughout the project lifecycle.
• Be responsible for defining, monitoring, and controlling the project cost plan and project schedule.
• Define and implement the project meeting and governance strategy.
• Prepare, maintain, and update the project risk register.
• Propose and support the procurement and contracting strategy.
• Define and manage the project document management and filing structure.
• Prepare and issue Monthly Project Status Reports to both the client and the Project Management leadership team.
• Coordinate with the project team and gather all necessary information for the final evaluation and performance assessment of contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's), Architecture, Building Engineering, Technical Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
• Approx.10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager in construction, office, logistics/industrial, or similar projects
• A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design, through to construction completion and post-project review
• Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, MS Project, office productivity tools, and BIM platforms
• Strong communication skills and seeking to leverage their skills within an international professional context
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
• Fluent in Spanish and min. B3 level in English language
• Available for travels toproject locationson an occasional basis
