Turner & Townsend in Pamplona, Spain, seeks an experienced Cost Manager to lead cost management across the full project lifecycle. You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders, prepare cost estimates, manage procurement and tendering, oversee variations and final accounts, and produce and present final cost plans.

This on-site role requires fluent Spanish and business-level English, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality cost

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Manage pre and post-contract duties including cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final accounts.
• Estimate and cost plan to produce and present the final cost plan.
• Tender and procure, manage pre-qualification, tender lists, preliminaries, tender analysis and contractual documents.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to the client.
• Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Perform cost risk analysis and input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.

Job Description

Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division in Spain requires suitably qualified and experienced Cost Manager to join our team in Pamplona.

Job Objectives

• Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally
• Manage pre and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
• Estimate and cost plan to include producing and presenting the final cost plan
• Tender and procure, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents
• Take responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuations
• Produce monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
• Interface with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes
• Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts

Note that this position requires to be on site 5 days a week in Pamplona.

Qualifications

A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full construction project lifecycle.

• Fluent in Spanish and business level English.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.
