Law Absolute Ltd. is seeking an ambitious Associate to join its Corporate Tax practice at a leading City firm. You will advise UK and international clients on transactional and advisory matters, with exposure to complex work and regular client contact.

The team covers mergers, acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, cross-border tax issues and general corporate tax advisory. PQE 3–6 years and a minimum 2:1 degree; qualified in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Associate to join a leading City firm within its Corporate Tax practice.

The successful candidate will join an established tax team advising on a broad mix of transactional and advisory matters for UK and international clients. The role offers strong exposure to complex work, regular client contact and the opportunity to take on a high level of responsibility.

The team advises on a broad range of Corporate Tax matters, including the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, disposals and corporate reorganisations; structuring and tax planning in connection with investments and transactions; UK tax issues arising from cross-border and international matters; tax considerations relating to real estate and other commercial transactions; general corporate tax advisory work; and tax enquiries and contentious matters.

Experience required:

• Qualified in England and Wales or another common law jurisdiction.
• Have 3-6 years' PQE gained in a corporate tax practice.
• Strong experience in Corporate Tax, ideally with a transactional element
• Ability to provide clear, practical advice.
• Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree.
