A leading chemical manufacturing company in Sevilla is seeking a Corporate Senior Demand Planner. This role involves enhancing supply planning stability and improving forecast accuracy, requiring strong analytical skills and at least 3 years of experience in demand planning within FMCG. Formación

As a Corporate Senior Demand Planner at Persán, you will be involved in the supply chain department in a transversal way and participate in the improvement of processes, while preparing and facilitating the monthly demand review. In doing so, the role will drive increased supply planning stability, forecast accuracy improvement from sales team, better adherence to customer delivery, enhanced capacity utilization, and inventory health increase. Additionally you will also be involved in the demand and supply planning processes.

This role is based in our main offices in Sevilla, Spain, and will require 10% travel time.

Mission and key responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of the demand review program implementation plan.
  • Track program progress and provide regular reports on the status to the supply chain team & key stakeholders.
  • Manage and adjust for any changes in program scope, schedule, and/or resources.
  • Identify and mitigate potential issues coming from forecast mistakes.
  • Collect and consolidate all the inputs from the different forums of the sales and supply departments.
  • Identify and detail the different scenarios/solutions to be presented in the demand review meetings.
  • Drive the impact analysis and align & validate with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare documentation for the demand review meetings.
  • Own the compilation and analysis of key demand metrics.
  • Strengthen relationships with departments involved to help drive participation.
  • Participate in the execution of the demand planning processes, including the data inputs, cleansing and the generation of an statistical forecast.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and/or Master´s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in roles of Demand Planning in FMCG companies.
  • Ability to work across functions (supply chain, operations, commercial, finance).
Hard Skills
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze figures, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations with a strong business orientation.
  • Good command of IT systems - particularly MS Office (Excel).
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge in business finances & accounting (P&L).
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to smoothly interact with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst being a team player, flexible when dealing with other people.
  • Highly customer-oriented.
  • Structured way of thinking and attention to details.
