Our client is a global packaging company with expanding operations across Europe, including Germany, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
Due to their growth, they are seeking a SAP IBP Application Specialist to join their European team.
The SAP IBP application specialist oversees support across sites in the EMEA region, ensuring consistent improvements of existing systems and implementing new functionalities. The role combines Business Consulting and Solution Delivery to ensure project success.
- Maintain and evolve SAP IBP templates.
- Provide Level 3 support for issues raised by Helpdesk or Demand Managers.
- Schedule and monitor periodic jobs in planning and forecasting cycles.
- Evaluate new SAP IBP features and advise Business Operations.
- Ensure project delivery on time, within scope and budget.
- Document processes and create roll-out kits.
- Conduct key user training.
- Follow project methodology.
- Support existing instances and act as Solutions Architect.
- Manage process key-user requests and issues, including specifications, updates, and training.
- Create transport requests and follow up on issues.
- Customize and specify programs.
- Promote information sharing across sites to optimize SAP IBP usage.
- Ensure methodological compliance and continuous improvement.
- Address major challenges such as standardization, complex business environments, and multi-tasking.
- Experience with SAP IBP Demand Planning and S&OP modules, including CPI-DS and APO.
- Familiarity with SAP IBP PLM module is a plus.
- Experience with SAP PP and MM modules.
- Participation in multiple SAP IBP implementations.
- IT and project management experience; management experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of industrial site processes.
- Experience in international SAP IBP projects and planning tools.
- Expertise in requirements modeling, software development, metrics, UI design, and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of training needs analysis and testing processes.
