Michael Page, Madrid-based international consultancy, seeks a senior finance professional to lead M&A, corporate financing, and strategic investments across global operations.

You will develop debt facilities, manage lender relationships, and prepare materials for negotiations; 8–10 years’ experience and fluent English are required; office is Chamartín, on-site.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Lead corporate financing, debt raising and project financing initiatives across global operations.
• Develop financing strategies and structures, including debt facilities and acquisition financing.
• Manage relationships with banks, DFIs, lenders and investors.
• Prepare financing proposals, lender presentations and debt-raising materials.
• Analyze and support negotiations on terms, covenants and repayment structures.
• Monitor debt obligations, liquidity and covenant compliance.
• Lead development and review of integrated financial models for planning and projects.
• Develop project economics and pricing models for opportunities.
• Evaluate profitability, cash flows and risk allocation.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing.
• Review assumptions and investment cases with senior management.
• Support commercial teams in pricing strategies.

Corporate Financing & Debt Raising

1. Lead corporate financing, debt raising, refinancing, and project financing initiatives across the global operations.
2. Develop financing strategies and structures, including debt facilities, acquisition financing, and structured finance solutions.
3. Manage relationships with banks, development finance institutions, lenders, investors, and financial advisors.
4. Prepare financing proposals, lender presentations, financial information memoranda, and debt-raising materials.
5. Analyze and support negotiations on financing terms, pricing, covenants, leverage, maturities, and repayment structures.
6. Monitor debt obligations, liquidity, financing requirements, and covenant compliance.

Financial Modeling, Pricing & Project Economics

1. Lead the development and review of integrated financial models for corporate planning, projects, concessions, investments, and strategic initiatives.
2. Develop project economics and pricing models for commercial opportunities.
3. Evaluate project profitability, cash flows, financing needs, returns, and risk allocation.
4. Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing.
5. Review and challenge financial assumptions, business plans, forecasts, and investment cases.
6. Support commercial teams in developing competitive and profitable pricing strategies.

M&A & Financial Due Diligence

1. Lead the financial workstream of M&A, acquisitions, strategic investments, and corporate development transactions.
2. Evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and investment opportunities across target international markets.
3. Coordinate and manage financial due diligence, including quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, cash flow, CAPEX, and financial risks.
4. Review financial models, forecasts, business plans, and transaction assumptions.
5. Coordinate with Big 4 firms, investment banks, legal advisors, tax advisors, and other external consultants.
6. Support transaction negotiations, purchase price analysis, acquisition financing, and post-acquisition value creation.

Valuations & Investment Analysis

1. Lead valuation analyses for companies, projects, concessions, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
2. Apply DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, project valuation, and other relevant methodologies.
3. Assess enterprise value, equity value, transaction value, IRR, NPV, and investment returns.
4. Develop valuation models across different geographies, currencies, and business environments.
5. Provide independent financial recommendations to the CEO, CFO, shareholders, and senior management.

Corporate Reporting & Strategic Analysis

1. Oversee corporate financial analysis and reporting for the CEO, CFO, shareholders, and senior management.
2. Analyze revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, net debt, CAPEX, and financial performance across global operations.
3. Monitor actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
4. Develop financial and operational KPI analysis and identify key risks, trends, and opportunities.
5. Prepare board materials, shareholder reports, strategic reviews, and investor presentations.
6. Provide forward-looking financial and economic analysis to support strategic decisions and capital allocation.

Strategic Finance & Business Advisory

1. Act as a trusted financial and economic advisor to the CEO, CFO, and executive management.
2. Evaluate new market opportunities, concessions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
3. Assess the impact of interest rates, inflation, currency movements, regulatory developments, and country risks.
4. Support long-term growth planning, capital allocation, and value-creation initiatives.
5. Coordinate with country managers, operations, business development, finance, legal, and tax teams.

• Salary: €80K-€90K, depending on the candidate's experience and profile.
