NetApp is seeking a District Manager for Spain and Portugal to lead a high-performing sales team, drive strategic territory plans, and accelerate customer adoption of NetApp's data infrastructure portfolio. You will own revenue accountability and build executive relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.

You will travel within the territory, coach teams, and collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partners to deliver

Formación

  • 8+ years of technology sales experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading direct or matrixed sales teams.
  • Experience selling complex technology solutions using consultative, value-based approaches.
  • Strong ability to build executive-level relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in growing revenue and achieving targets.

As a District Manager for Spain and Portugal, you will hold a highly visible leadership role that combines people leadership, strategic planning, customer engagement, and revenue accountability. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and inspire a high-performing team of sales professionals


In this role, you will be crucial for driving NetApp's growth across the defined territory of Spain and Portugal. You will leverage your experience in enterprise technology sales to develop and execute territory strategies that accelerate customer adoption of NetApp's intelligent data infrastructure portfolio.


Job Responsibilities


  • Maximizing revenue by coaching your teams on developing new opportunities, managing the pipeline, and fostering relationships with customers and partners.

  • A focus on landing new accounts, as well as upselling and cross-selling to expand the share-of-wallet within existing accounts.

  • Working closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to help organizations modernize their data strategies and achieve measurable business outcomes.

  • Residing within the territory and being able to travel regularly to engage with your team, customers, and partners. You will be instrumental in shaping market strategy, inspiring your teams, and driving transformational outcomes for both customers and NetApp.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue objectives. This involves fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive revenue growth across the defined territory, prioritizing hunting new "land" accounts and increasing "share-of-wallet" in existing "expand" accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

  • Build strong executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.

  • Drive pipeline generation, opportunity progression, forecast accuracy, and sales execution excellence, including owning and leading the delivery of accurate forecasts and sales stage progression through disciplined use of MEDDICC by all team members.

  • Collaborate effectively with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partner teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.

  • You will act as a district sales orchestrator, engaging the right experts at the right time.

  • Drive a high-performance culture leveraging, providing consistent and actionable feedback, and effectively managing underperforming team members while recruiting high-performing talent.


Job Requirements


  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.

  • Experience selling complex technology solutions through consultative and value-based sales methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, AI, cloud, data management, and storage technologies.

  • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and influence decision-makers.

  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management, Professional Services, and Engineering organizations.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.

  • Experience working with channel partners and ecosystem relationships is highly desirable.

  • 8+ years of technology sales experience.

  • Demonstrated success in growing revenue, exceeding sales targets, and leading high-performing organizations.

  • Experience developing and executing strategic territory plans and business growth initiatives.
