Cycle0 is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join our growing team in Barcelona, Spain. You will evaluate investment opportunities, execute M&A transactions, and develop strategic partnerships to support the expansion of our renewable energy platform across Europe.

You will build financial models, conduct sector research in biogas/biomethane, and partner with legal, accounting, and tax experts to drive cross-functional investment decisions and post-acquisition integration.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; CFA or equivalent qualification an advantage.
  • 2-4 years of experience in transaction services, investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate development, or similar.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, with ideally some financial modeling experience and a strong appetite to develop skills in this area.
  • Proficient PowerPoint skills for internal and external presentations.
  • Previous exposure to energy sector is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish. Italian is a plus.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop financial models for the valuation and analysis of investments on internally developed and M&A projects.
  • Conduct desktop research in the sector of renewable energy (biogas/biomethane), the relative regulations in European level to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships that could enhance Cycle0's position in the sector.
  • Work alongside the team to run end to end investment decisions. Including identification, structuring and negotiations of a range of commercial opportunities covering M&A, partnerships and JV's.
  • Partnering with local business units and corporate functions, and working closely with legal, accounting and tax experts.
  • Assist and support post-acquisition integration by ensuring that cross-functional teams are all executing on their respective M&A integration plans.
  • Preparing presentations for projects for internal and external uses.
  • Other supporting activities at early expansion stage of Cycle0 such us analysing offtake opportunities, green certification audits, project permitting liaison.

Job Overview
