The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an Associate for a hands-on Structured Finance role with a European renewable energy platform. You will support financing, acquisition and development across multiple markets, from financial modelling to lender negotiations and financial close.

Working with investment, development and senior management teams, you will structure debt, size transactions, and coordinate due diligence across banks, funds and advisors.

Formación

  • Approximately 2–5 years' experience within Project Finance, Structured Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Leveraged/Acquisition Finance or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience gained within a bank, infrastructure/renewables investor, developer, IPP, advisory firm or debt fund.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with experience analysing cash flows, debt capacity and investment returns.
  • Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure or power transactions is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of project finance concepts including debt sizing, financing structures, covenants and financial close.
  • Experience interacting with lenders, investors, advisers and transaction counterparties.
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgement with the ability to identify key transaction risks.
  • Comfortable working within an entrepreneurial and fast-moving investment environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple European jurisdictions.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the structuring and execution of project and structured finance transactions across renewable energy assets.
  • Build, review and maintain detailed financial models covering project economics, debt capacity and equity returns.
  • Assess appropriate financing structures including senior debt, junior debt, HoldCo financing and other structured capital solutions.
  • Undertake debt sizing, sensitivity and downside analysis to assess financing capacity and transaction risks.
  • Support financing of acquisitions, developments, construction-stage projects and portfolio refinancings.
  • Assist with lender selection, financing proposals, term sheets and negotiations with banks and other capital providers.
  • Coordinate financial, legal, technical, tax and commercial due diligence processes.
  • Review and support negotiation of financing documentation and commercial agreements.
  • Prepare transaction analysis and recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
  • Work closely with internal investment, commercial, development and finance teams throughout transaction execution.
  • Maintain relationships with banks, debt funds, advisers and other financing partners.
  • Support the evaluation of new financing structures and capital optimisation opportunities across the wider portfolio.

The Opportunity

A well-capitalised European renewable energy platform is looking to appoint a Structured Finance Associate to support the financing, acquisition and development of renewable energy projects across multiple European markets.

Working closely with the investment, development and senior management teams, the successful candidate will take an active role in structuring and executing debt financing solutions across a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets.

This is a hands-on position offering significant exposure to transactions from initial financial analysis and structuring through to lender negotiations and financial close.
