Cycle0 is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst in Barcelona to drive European growth. You will build financial models, evaluate investment opportunities, and support M&A, partnerships, and joint ventures across the region.

You will collaborate with legal, accounting and tax teams, and help integrate post-acquisition initiatives while preparing compelling presentations for stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 2-4 years of experience in transaction services, investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate development, or similar.
• Proficient in Excel with financial modeling experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop financial models for valuation and analysis of investments and M&A projects.
• Conduct desktop research on renewable energy sector to identify trends and partnerships.
• Execute end-to-end investment decisions including M&A, partnerships, and JVs.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting and tax to support transactions and post-acquisition integration.
• Prepare presentations for internal and external use.

We are looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join our growing team in Barcelona and support Cycle0 strategic growth across Europe. In this role, you will play an active part in evaluating investment opportunities, executing M&A transactions, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to the expansion of our renewable energy platform.

What you will be doing

• Develop financial models for the valuation and analysis of investments on internally developed and M&A projects.
• Conduct desktop research in the sector of renewable energy (biogas/biomethane), the relative regulations in European level to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships that could enhance Cycle0’s position in the sector.
• Work alongside the team to run end to end investment decisions. Including identification, structuring and negotiations of a range of commercial opportunities covering M&A, partnerships and JV’s.
• Partnering with local business units and corporate functions, and working closely with legal, accounting and tax experts
• Assist and support post-acquisition integration by ensuring that cross-functional teams are all executing on their respective M&A integration plans.
• Preparing presentations for projects for internal and external uses.
• Other supporting activities at early expansion stage of Cycle0 such us analysing offtake opportunities, green certification audits, project permitting liaison.

Your talent and knowledge

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; chartered accountancy, CFA or equivalent qualification an advantage
• 2-4 years of experience in transaction services, investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate development, or similar.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, with ideally some financial modeling experience and a strong appetite to develop skills in this area
• Proficient PowerPoint skills for internal and external presentations
• Previous exposure to energy sector is a plus
• Fluent in English, Spanish. Italian is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
