Mondelēz International invites motivated interns to join its 12-month program at the Hospital de Órbigo plant in León, Spain. You will work with the conversion team to adapt and optimize production lines, focusing on quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a multinational setting.

The internship aims to develop engineering knowledge, project management, and problem-solving skills, with exposure to Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and industrial equipment.

Competenze

• MS-Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
• High level of English (written and spoken) is required.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Proactive attitude with good teamwork and strong analytical skills.

Your Challenge and Contribution:

• Collaborate with our conversion team in adapting, optimizing, and changing processes and production lines to manufacture our different products, formats, or recipes without losing efficiency, quality, or food safety.

• Contribute to the rigorous compliance with Quality and Food Safety, People Safety, and Environmental Protection standards.

• Actively participate in focused continuous improvement teams, applying and learning methodologies such as Lean - Six Sigma and IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma).

• See how your ideas and efforts translate into concrete optimizations and improvements in our production processes.

Who are we looking for?

• Academic Background: University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Food, or similar).

• Previous Experience (Not essential): We value if you can contribute with some previous experience in production plants, especially with a focus on continuous improvement. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be a plus.

• Tools and Languages: Proficiency in MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and a high level of English (written and spoken) is essential.

• Proactive Attitude: Quick learning ability, initiative, excellent teamwork skills, and an open mind to face new experiences.

• Key Skills: Effective communication at all levels, motivation, listening skills, creativity, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
