Contract React Developer

Location: Hybrid – Must be available in Barcelona office 2 days per week (Thursdays & Fridays)

Duration: 3 months (with potential extension)

Engagement: Contract

Rate: €345/day

Legally authorized to work in Spain (including willingness to undergo background checks, including credit checks.)

Opus is partnering with a leading global client whose eCommerce team. We’re looking for a Contract React Developer to play a key role in modernising their Commerce Storefront, currently based on Spartacus and SAP Commerce, using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale digital initiatives, building high-performance, scalable solutions that optimise both performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a robust Front End codebase using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Build reusable components and ensure responsive, modular architecture.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests to maintain quality.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers and Back End teams.
• Deploy enhancements and contribute to product strategy alongside stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in Front End development with React and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Next.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with responsive design, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
