A global leader in the consumer goods industry is seeking a Solution Architect for a Purchase-to-Pay (SAP Ariba) role. This position is on an 8–9 month maternity cover contract and offers the opportunity to lead global SAP Ariba service delivery in a fully remote setting within the EU. Applicants should possess strong expertise in SAP Ariba, a solid understanding of SAP ECC, and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively. Fluent English required, with additional European languages being advantageous.

We are supporting a global leader in the consumer goods industry in their search for a Solution Architect – Purchase to Pay (SAP Ariba) to join their Global IT organisation on a 8–9 month maternity cover contract. The role can be based remotely within the EU, with a preference for candidates located in Spain.

The role is for the 7–9 month maternity cover contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead service delivery and service management for Purchase-to-Pay (Ariba + SAP ECC).
• Drive adoption and provide user support for SAP Ariba post-implementation.
• Guide and coordinate external vendor teams (20+ consultants globally) – training, setting priorities, ensuring delivery quality.
• Support global change requests and process improvements in P2P.
• Act as the main point of contact for business teams worldwide on P2P-related projects and escalations.
• Ensure smooth integration and alignment between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in SAP Ariba (must-have).

Strong understanding of SAP ECC (MM module) and related integration touchpoints.

Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to deliver results in a global environment.

Fluent English; Spanish or other European languages are an advantage.

Maternity cover contract (7–9 months) with global exposure in a leading FMCG company.

Fully remote role within EU (CET hours).
