Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid seeks an experienced A/C Connectivity and Comms Systems Design Engineer to join the Connectivity & Comms area. You will lead system design, architectures, and requirements, interfacing with suppliers and customers to deliver compliant solutions.

The role covers model-based engineering, verification, validation, certification and collaboration in a multinational environment, with a hybrid working model when possible.

Formación

• Engineering degree in a technical field such as aeronautics, computer science or telecoms.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a related area.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; French/German a plus.

Responsabilidades

• System design and requirements management; define architectures.
• Define system functionality, interoperability specs and development projects.
• Specify HW and installation requirements; define interfaces.
• Monitor suppliers; validate technical documentation.
• Analyze test results; propose changes and improvements.
• Provide interface and technical support to customers and stakeholders.
• Lead from inception through qualification, verification, validation and certification.

Job Title and Company

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a A/C Connectivity and Comms Systems Design Engineer to join our Connectivity & Comms area based in Getafe, Madrid.

Responsibilities

• System Design and requirements management Architectures Definition.
• System functional and interoperability specifications Innovation and Development projects creation and completion.
• Equipment HW and installation requirements specification.
• Equipment interfaces definition.
• Equipment Suppliers activities monitoring, technical documentation validation.
• Equipment configuration control Rig and A/C test results analysis, problems investigation, change proposals.
• Interface and Technical Support in front of Customers, Authorities, Suppliers and Stakeholders.
• System Inception from scratch, Design, qualification, verification, validation and certification activities including Model Based System Engineering and Modelling.

Skills

• Engineering degree in a technical domain, e.g., aeronautics, computer science, telecommunications engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with French and or German as a nice to have.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset active to new challenges in a multi-national environment.
• Technical expertise tools, frameworks, regulations Knowledge on Requirements management tools (DOORS, Rhapsody), Model Based System Engineering, Agile, and DMS, will be appreciated.
• Communication Skills.
