Ingram Micro Czech Republic is seeking an experienced assembler to join our production team in Tarragona. The role involves assembling electronic and electro-mechanical units according to precise specifications and procedures, ensuring tolerance conformance and quality.

You will also lead daily operations, train and review work of junior staff, and frequently solve complex issues with initiative. The incumbent may handle related packing and test-kit tasks as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Two year college degree or equivalent plus 5+ years experience; or HS diploma with 8+ years experience.
• Knowledgeable in wiring, soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing.
• Leads daily operations and may mentor junior staff.
• Demonstrates initiative and problem solving in complex scenarios.

Description

Position Summary: Assembles electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies or products according to product specifications. Follows established procedures and applies knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures in wiring, soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing to assemble units. Ensures conformance to specified tolerances. May disassemble and correct malfunctions. Other responsibilities may include the assembly of test kits or other packing/labeling tasks. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis, judgment and initiative. Makes minor adjustments and enhancements to working methods to improve effectiveness of area. May act as a lead or mentor to more junior technical or administrative support personnel. Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures. Incumbents independently perform a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Known in the department/group as the “knowledge base” of information. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often acts as a facilitator and team leader.
