Job summary

Rheinmetall is seeking a Configuration Engineer in Madrid to establish and govern configuration management processes. Key responsibilities include maintaining configuration management activities, ensuring documentation consistency, and leading engineering change management processes. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry, a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, and knowledge of relevant management tools. A high level of English is required, and travel availability is necessary.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in defense industry R&D.
• Basic knowledge of Configuration Management standards such as ACMP-2100 and ISO 10007.
• Availability to travel to any of our factories.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute configuration management activities throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Ensure consistency between requirements, configuration baselines, and technical documentation.
• Perform configuration identification activities for both software and hardware products.
