Job summary

Hilton Madrid is seeking a professional Cook to lead culinary production in our hotel kitchen, delivering memorable guest experiences through Spanish-inspired cuisine and high standards of presentation.

You’ll work across outlets including Reserva Grill, Ferrum Bar, room service, and events, collaborating with a team to ensure quality, safety, and timely service while upholding Hilton’s hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook is required; experience in hotels and a focus on Spanish cuisine will be considered an advantage.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different work situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a professional kitchen environment.
• Possession of a valid Food Handler Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive culinary excellence: Select high-quality ingredients, uphold presentation standards, and ensure consistency in execution of dishes.
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards.
• Provide support across the hotel's various outlets: Reserva Grill Restaurant, Ferrum Bar, Room Service, breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, as well as the various events and banquets held at the hotel.
• Staff Canteen: Assist in the preparation of staff meals.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Head Chef or the Hotel Manager
