Job summary

N26 Inc. is seeking a Compliance & Prevention Associate to join the Complaints Management & Prevention team in Madrid, focusing on regulatory remediation and root-cause analysis across markets with emphasis on Germany.

You will execute remediation projects, maintain compliance documentation, and support audit evidence collection. The role requires 4+ years in compliance or banking operations, fluent English and German, and offers a range of benefits with relocation support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in compliance controls, assurance, banking operations or complaints management in German financial space.
• Full working proficiency in German.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Remediation Execution: work with auditors and management to ensure timely delivery of remediation projects.
• Compliance Maintenance: draft and update Written Orders, Work Instructions, process maps and guidelines.
• Case-Level RCA Investigations: perform deep-dive investigations across markets to identify root causes.
• Audit Evidence Compilation: collect and archive ToD/ToE evidence for reviews.
• Quality & Output Compliance: verify SLA calculations, delay triggers and conflict-of-interest checks.
