Zurich Insurance Group, via ServiZurich in Barcelona, seeks a Compliance Assurance Senior Manager to drive the regional assurance programme across Europe and the Middle East. You will lead risk-based QA activities, partner with Local Compliance Officers, and elevate governance, controls, and remediation across multiple jurisdictions.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Assurance, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex assurance, audit, monitoring, or review activities.
• Excellent understanding of risk assessment methodologies, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders across multiple functions and jurisdictions.
• Fluent English skills are mandatory; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and execution of a risk-based Compliance Assurance plan aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and oversee assurance reviews across multiple compliance risk areas with high quality standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of compliance controls, governance arrangements, and remediation actions.
• Provide independent challenge and insight to business management on compliance risks and control weaknesses.
• Prepare and present assurance reports, thematic reviews, and management information to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Risk Management, and other assurance providers for integrated assurance.
• Monitor timely implementation of management actions and escalate significant issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and reporting standards.
• Coach and develop assurance professionals in a collaborative environment.

As aCompliance Assurance Senior Manager you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the development and execution of a risk‑based Compliance Assurance plan aligned with regulatory requirements, compliance risks, and business priorities across the Region.
• Manage and oversee assurance reviews across multiple compliance risk areas, ensuring delivery to the highest quality standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of compliance controls, governance arrangements, and risk mitigation activities.
• Provide independent challenge and insight to business management on compliance risks, control weaknesses, and remediation actions.
• Prepare and present assurance reports, thematic reviews, and management information to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Support the Compliance Risk Assessment process by identifying emerging risks, trends, and areas requiring additional assurance focus.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Risk Management, and other assurance providers to deliver an integrated and efficient assurance approach.
• Monitor the timely implementation of management actions arising from assurance reviews and escalate significant issues where appropriate.
• Drive continuous improvement of assurance methodologies, testing techniques, reporting standards, and quality assurance practices.
• Coach and develop assurance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.

• Excellent understanding of risk assessment methodologies, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders across multiple functions and jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes, emerging risks, and practical remediation solutions.
• Experience working within a multinational and matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal formats.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Audit, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CAMS or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Fluent English skills are mandatory
• Additional languages would be considered an advantage.
