Job summary

Sibelco is seeking a Compensations and Benefits Specialist in Bilbao to support the design, administration and improvement of C&B programs, ensuring equity, competitiveness and compliance.

You will run annual salary planning, maintain grading and job evaluation frameworks, provide data-driven insights, and build dashboards with Workday and Power BI.

Requirements include a degree in economics, law, business or HR, 4–7 years in C&B in international settings, and strong English.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits in an international environment.
• Knowledge of Hay job evaluation methodology or similar.
• Experience with Workday and Power BI; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Support design, review and maintenance of C&B policies to align with culture and governance.
• Administer compensation structures including grading systems and promotion policy.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across rewards processes.
• Execute annual salary planning and bonus cycles; data preparation, modeling and reporting.
• Maintain and update incentive plans; track eligibility, calculations and payouts.
• Conduct job evaluations and maintain job architecture consistency.
• Perform market benchmarking using survey data; recommend salary ranges and pay positioning.
• Provide stakeholder support to HR business partners and managers on compensation decisions.
• Build and maintain C&B dashboards and reports using Workday and Power BI.
• Monitor compensation and benefits trends and recommend enhancements.

Job Description

As part of the Compensations and Benefits Team you will support the development, administration, and continuous improvement of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance. Execute annual compensation cycles, maintain grading and job evaluation frameworks, provide data‑driven insights, and collaborate across HR to deliver high‑quality rewards processes aligned with the People Strategy.

In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

What you bring to the table

• Degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in C&B within an international environment.
