Job summary

Sibelco is seeking an IS Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Manager to translate corporate strategy into a coherent IS roadmap for our global operations, driving digital transformation, architectural consistency and long-term technology value.

Based in Bilbao, you will lead architecture standards, guide investment decisions, and foster collaboration across central and regional teams to deliver secure, scalable and cost-effective solutions aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience including 5+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture and IT Governance.
• Experience with EA frameworks and tools (TOGAF, ArchiMate; LeanIX/Ardoq/Bizzdesign/MEGA).
• Broad knowledge of ERP environments, SAP S/4HANA, cloud and IT/OT convergence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate strategy and business priorities into the IS strategy, target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap.
• Own and continuously improve the enterprise architecture framework, chairing the Architecture Review Board.
• Drive application and technology portfolio management, reduce technical debt and lifecycle risks.
• Define and guide integration, cloud, security and IT/OT architecture across global operations.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior IS leaders and build architectural capabilities across teams.

As IS Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Manager , you will translate Sibelco's corporate strategy and business priorities into a coherent IS strategy, target architecture and multi-year roadmap. You will ensure that business processes, data, applications, infrastructure and operational technology work together as an integrated, secure, scalable and cost-effective landscape across our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate strategy and business priorities into the IS strategy, target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap, supporting investment planning, business cases and technology prioritisation.
• Own and continuously improve the enterprise architecture framework, principles and standards, chairing the Architecture Review Board and ensuring projects, technology investments and vendor solutions comply with agreed architectural requirements.
• Drive application and technology portfolio management, identifying opportunities for rationalisation, reuse and decommissioning while reducing technical debt, lifecycle risks and total cost of ownership.
• Define and guide integration, cloud, security and IT/OT architecture, working with Cybersecurity, Data & AI and plant stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient and compliant solutions across Sibelco's global operations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and IS leaders, leading the global architecture community, challenging technology and vendor choices where necessary, and building architectural capabilities across central and regional teams.

Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, including a minimum of 5 years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture and IT Governance.
• Strong experience in enterprise architecture frameworks and tools, ideally: TOGAF, ArchiMate and platforms such as LeanIX, Ardoq, Bizzdesign or MEGA.
• Broad technical understanding of ERP-centric environments, preferably SAP S/4HANA, cloud and hybrid architectures, integration, cybersecurity and IT/OT convergence.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership, challenge decisions constructively and balance business value, cost, risk and security.
