We’re looking for a Community Manager to join iOENT and build an engaged community for one of our new consumer brands.
You’ll take ownership of our community channels, primarily Discord and Telegram, and shape how members connect with the brand and each other. From setting up channels and planning events to developing ambassador programmes, this is a hands‑on opportunity to build a community from the ground up.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute our community strategy across Discord and Telegram, including channel structure, rules, bots and day‑to‑day engagement.
- Plan and host regular activities, quizzes, AMAs, creator collaborations and other events that give members a reason to return.
- Build ambassador, referral and community content programmes, with clear incentives, participation standards and budgets.
- Organise giveaways and competitions with clear rules, fair winner selection and timely reward distribution.
- Coordinate moderation support and maintain a welcoming community, addressing spam, scams, impersonation and complaints.
- Represent the brand across relevant social channels and partner communities, answering questions and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Work closely with CRM, acquisition, social media and product teams, sharing community feedback and keeping members informed about outcomes.
- Track engagement, repeat participation, community growth and registrations to understand what works and improve activities.
- Ensure community activities follow platform rules and applicable marketing requirements.
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience managing and growing online communities.
- Strong practical knowledge of Discord and Telegram, including community tools, bots and moderation.
- Experience planning and hosting community events, campaigns and engagement programmes that encourage repeat participation.
- The ability to independently build community operations from scratch, set priorities and manage related budgets.
- Clear, conversational writing, fluent English and a sense of humour that works in a community setting.
- Confidence hosting voice sessions and live events, with calm judgement when handling complaints or sensitive questions.
- A practical approach to reporting and using community insights to improve engagement.
- Flexibility to cover some evenings and weekends on an agreed schedule.
Experience with crypto communities is highly preferred. Existing relationships with creators, streamers or community owners, and experience with ambassador, referral or content programmes would be an advantage.
What we offer (Remote)
- 21 calendar days of paid annual leave and 5 paid sick days.
- Additional paid time off for personal milestones, including your birthday, marriage, graduation and your child’s first school day.
- Dedicated Learning & Development budget to support your professional growth and development.
- Annual team events budget to encourage collaboration and connection.
- Regular company-wide events and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
- Flexible, international working environment with colleagues based in Estonia, Malta and remote locations.
Location & working arrangements
Open to candidates based in Tallinn or Malta, as well as those looking to work fully remotely from another location.
- Tallinn or Malta: Office-based opportunities with a local Employment Contract and benefits package.
- Fully remote: Open to candidates within approximately 1–2 hours of European time zones, generally under a B2B Service Agreement (contractor arrangement), subject to eligibility and approval.
- Relocation support to Tallinn or Malta is not provided. Employment terms and benefits depend on your location and contract type.
Why this role and why iOENT?
You’ll join at an early stage, with the opportunity to shape a new brand’s community from the beginning. Your initial focus will be launching the community channels, establishing regular activities and developing a roadmap for continued growth.
Working directly with the CMO and closely with marketing and product colleagues, you’ll have ownership of community initiatives and a direct opportunity to turn member feedback into practical improvements.
