ARRAY Tech, Inc. is seeking a Commodity Specialist in Madrid to lead contract management and supplier negotiations, driving cost reductions and profitable sourcing. The role requires strong market insight, supplier evaluation and the ability to manage international deals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and hedge risks, while maintaining adherence to company standards and regional practices.

Formación

• Engineering degree (mechanical/electrical specialization).
• B2/C1 English.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience negotiating internationally.
• Time management: Deadlines and stress resistance.
• Analytical capacity (preferred).
• Negotiation, planning, and self-management skills (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Supplier Identification, Development and Evaluation: conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess capabilities, financial stability and reputation.
• Negotiation: secure favorable terms incl. price, payment terms, delivery schedules, SLAs per Array Standards.
• Market Analysis and Risk Management: monitor market trends, commodity pricing and supply risks; develop hedging and inventory strategies.
• Inventory Management: collaborate with inventory control to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: track quality, delivery and responsiveness of suppliers.
• Collaboration with legal entities and CoE - Asia to align sourcing strategies.

These responsibilities are essential for ensuring that the company makes wise purchases to save money and boost profitability. The role requires a strong understanding of market trends, supplier capabilities, and the ability to negotiate effectively.**Key Job Responsibilities:*** Supplier Identification, Development and Evaluation: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, analyzing their capabilities, financial stability, and reputation.* Negotiation: Engage in negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions as per Array Standards, including price negotiations, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service level agreements.* Market Analysis and Risk Management: Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks that may impact commodity availability or pricing. Develop strategies to manage market volatility, including alternative sourcing options, hedging and inventory strategies.* Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory control teams to manage commodity inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
