A leader in powertrain solutions located in Castilla y León is seeking a Procurement Manager to support supplier management and strategy implementation. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong negotiation skills, and experience in procurement. Responsibilities
  • Support in Panel Management: Assist in gathering and analysing market data to support the development of supplier panel strategies. Help implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
  • Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives (identify cost-saving opportunities), partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select the suppliers based on cost, delivery, quality and innovation capabilities.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose preventive measures. Assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate risks related to raw materials, electronic components, geopolitical issues, and financial matters.
Qualifications
  • A proven track record in direct procurement or commodity management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Excellent skills in communication.
  • Strong competencies in negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
