Adsearch is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning, integration and stabilization of automated systems at customer sites on international projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams across software, automation, ICT and robotics to achieve defined performance targets.

You will drive testing, readiness, and ramp-up activities, while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and strong stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in commissioning/start-up, system integration or industrial projects.
• Experience with automation, industrial software, robotics, ICT or system integration.
• Knowledge of acceptance testing, commissioning, start-up and operational readiness.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, subcontractors and customers.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.

Adsearch is currently looking for a Commissioning Manager to join an international project, leading the commissioning, integration and stabilization of automated systems at customer sites.

This is a key position within highly complex industrial projects, involving automation, software, robotics and system integration. The successful candidate will play a central role throughout the commissioning, start-up and ramp-up phases, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring that the system reaches the agreed performance levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the commissioning strategy and key milestones.
• Develop and maintain the commissioning plan, including testing scope, test sequence, protocols, acceptance criteria, resources and schedule.
• Monitor readiness prior to commissioning and drive outstanding actions to closure.
• Coordinate FAT readiness reviews and pre-commissioning activities.
• Identify integration and commissioning risks and define appropriate mitigation actions.
• Provide commissioning input into project planning, including duration estimates, resource requirements and realistic milestones.
• Verify dependencies between project disciplines before site execution.
• Coordinate activities across Software, Automation, ICT, Robotics and Site Operations.
• Manage interfaces and dependencies between different project disciplines.
• Set integration priorities and commissioning objectives across teams, ensuring everyone works according to the same sequence and acceptance criteria.
• Drive the resolution of integration issues impacting project progress.
• Coordinate third-party suppliers and subcontractors involved in commissioning activities.
• Ensure interfaces between subsystems are clearly defined, version-controlled and tested before the system moves to the next phase.
• Lead commissioning activities at customer sites and adapt the plan as site conditions evolve.
• Define testing priorities and execution sequences.
• Own the site punch list and drive issues through to closure.
• Coordinate daily commissioning activities across disciplines, subcontractors and customer teams.
• Monitor progress against commissioning milestones.
• Escalate any matters affecting scope, cost, schedule or contractual commitments to the Project Manager.
• Represent the Project Manager on site within the agreed scope of authority.
• Ensure commissioning activities comply with company safety standards, customer HSE requirements and applicable local regulations.

Customer Operational Coordination

• Act as the primary operational interface with the customer throughout commissioning.
• Coordinate operational activities and agree daily and weekly execution priorities with customer teams.
• Monitor customer commissioning prerequisites and drive them to closure.
• Ensure customer issues are assigned to the appropriate teams, prioritized and followed through to resolution.
• Facilitate effective communication between customer representatives and project teams.

Start of Production & Stabilization

• Lead operational activities during Start of Production.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary support teams during ramp-up.
• Ensure production ramp-up progresses in line with project objectives.
• Monitor system performance and operational stability and drive corrective actions.
• Support stabilization activities until the system is successfully handed over to the customer.
• Ensure start-up activities comply with safety, HSE and applicable local regulatory requirements.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track commissioning progress against project plans and milestones.
• Monitor effort spent versus actual progress achieved.
• Coordinate status reviews and follow-up meetings.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify execution risks and communicate recovery actions.,

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in commissioning, start-up, system integration or industrial project environments.
• Solid experience with automation, industrial software, robotics, ICT or system integration.
• Knowledge of acceptance testing, commissioning, start-up and operational readiness processes.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, subcontractors and customers.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions and manage competing priorities in high-pressure, business-critical environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness and availability to travel frequently and spend intensive periods on customer sites.
