Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for an international projects team in Bilbao. The role focuses on systematization, PFDs and PIDs, and initial pressure test definitions, with close interaction with Process and Engineering departments.

You will support HAZOPs, 3D model reviews, and the preparation of plans, procedures and manuals. Responsibilities include defining commissioning scope, creating narratives and utilities calculations for proposals, and coordinating with the home

• Experience organizing project planning duties within engineering teams.

Descripción del empleo

We are looking for aCommissioning engineer, whose main function will be:

• Development of systematization and complete system list, represented in PFDs, PIDs and layouts marked up, creating the initial definition of pressure test limits marked up with isometrics associated.
• Assistance to HAZOPs, screenings, 3D Model Review and maintain a close interaction with Engineering and Process Department.
• Database systematization, with engineering lists of every discipline and associating every item with their subsystem.
• Support to Commissioning Manager in the preparation of plans, procedures and manuals, both generic ones as detailed, based on the initial systematization created and the standardization defined in the head office.
• Marked up of temporary installations required for Commissioning activities and Safe Commissioning Studies in collaboration with HSE Department.
• Definition of items and circuits involved in Commissioning Critical Activities, like Box-up, Chemical Cleaning, Steam Blowing, Dry-out...
• Development of Preservation Matrix and inputs for Vendor Assistance in coordination with Commissioning Manager.
• Development of Commissioning narratives and utilities and consumables calculations for technical and commercial proposals.
• Collaboration in the Commissioning Home Office works developed for every project by the Process Section.
• Learn the corporate methodology (ITGs, procedures...) and being integrated in the work team for a project.
• Support to Commissioning Department Manager and discipline specialists, including specific support for technical and commercial proposals.
• Development of Commissioning narratives and utilities and consumables calculations for technical and commercial proposals.
• Responsible for Commissioning scope of work during initial phase of the project, until Commissioning Manager assignment, in order to assure and supervise the compliance with specifications in this phase, and to implement corporate procedures and ITGs, always in accordance with Client specifications. Agree with the Client the requirements to be fulfilled in order to minimize modifications in the future.
• Attend coordination meetings at home office until the assignment of the Commissioning Manager who will be mobilized to site.
• Report commissioning activities progress during the initial phase of the project.
• Give corporative support to site as required until the end of the project.
• Support to Subcontracts Department for preparing the technical requisition of Precommissioning and/or commissioning activities, such as chemical cleaning, blowing, catalyst loading, etc.Skills for the position:
• Organize the distribution of duties among the members of the Project Planning group and propose changes to the Department Head when needed.
• Support the integration of team members.
• Identify barriers that hinder teamwork and seek solutions that enable the achievement of the established objectives.
• Address suggestions, complaints, requests and other issues raised by team members, and solve the problems identified whenever possible.
• Establish the necessary measures to foster a positive working environment.
• Facilitate access to training for the team and request/attend his or her own training.
