GE Vernova is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead testing and commissioning activities on grid projects. The role requires 100% construction-site presence during execution, with AC, FACTS, and HVDC projects mainly in Germany and other regions.

You will interact with design offices, PM teams, and customers to ensure timely data, documentation, and successful handovers. Ideal candidates have an electrical engineering degree, substations commissioning experience, and fluency in English; German

Formación

Completed degree in electrical engineering or energy technology.
Significant experience in commissioning substations, power plants or HVDC systems.
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
Willingness to work on construction sites in Germany and abroad, with offshore assignments possible.
German driver's license class B.

Responsabilidades

Liaise with design office and PM team for timely data issuance for commissioning site works.
Prepare commissioning documentation such as ITPs and checklists.
Electrical and functional testing of primary and secondary devices in switchyards.
Publish test reports and ensure quality documentation compliance.
Coordinate with 3rd parties and monitor progress on site.
Maintain communication with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
