INSUD PHARMA is seeking a Commercial Controller to join its finance team in Madrid. You will drive profitability analysis, lead monthly revenue reporting, and provide strategic financial insights to commercial decisions.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in a business/controller role in manufacturing, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and bilingual English proficiency. The position offers flexible hours and professional development opportunities.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Controller in manufacturing.
• Strong profitability analysis and multi-currency experience.
• Advanced Excel and automation tool proficiency (Power Query, VBA, Power Pivot, Power Automate).

Responsabilidades

• Provide financial reviews, variance analysis, and strategic insights to drive profitability.
• Lead monthly revenue reporting and profitability tracking across products and geographies.
• Support S&OP with validated financial inputs and performance tracking.
• Oversee month-end revenue closing and consolidation for internal reporting.
• Ensure ERP and Power BI data accuracy with cross-functional collaboration.

INSUD PHARMA operates across the entire pharmaceutical value chain, bringing specialized knowledge and experience in scientific research, development, manufacturing, sales, and marketing of a wide range of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), finished dosage forms (FDF), and branded pharmaceutical products, adding value to human and animal health.

INSUD PHARMA is continuously growing and is looking for a Commercial Controller to join its finance team and support decision-making that improves the company’s financial performance.

What are we looking for?

• Collaborate with commercial teams to provide financial reviews, variance analysis, and strategic insights that drive profitability and informed decision-making.
• Lead monthly revenue reporting and profitability tracking, ensuring accuracy and transparency across products, customers, and geographies.
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis for business cases, investments, pricing decisions, and product launches, supporting commercial strategy with robust financial modeling.
• Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by validating financial inputs, ensuring reliability of estimates, and tracking performance against targets.
• Manage month-end revenue closing and consolidation for internal and HQ reporting, leveraging advanced Excel and automation tools (Power Query, VBA, Power Pivot, Power Automate).
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP and Power BI data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement of financial systems.

What do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Business Controller or Commercial Controller, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven expertise in profitability analysis, gross-to-net calculations, and working across multi-currency international markets.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, Master's in Finance) and/or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CIMA) highly valued.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and automation tools (Power Query, VBA, Power Pivot, Power Automate).
• Experience with SAP platforms (Business Objects, BPC, Analytics Cloud) and Power BI is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills, commercial acumen, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural, cross-functional teams.
