Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Collections Analyst to protect cash flow, reduce overdue debt, and deliver an outstanding customer financial services experience across Spain and Portugal. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive timely collections, resolve payment disputes, and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Working with Credit, Sales and Customer Service, you’ll use data, insight and technology to improve payment performance and support business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections or accounts receivable with ERP exposure.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish helpful.
• Stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely payment.
• Reduce overdue balances and resolve disputes with customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Credit teams.
• Identify payment trends and risks to support decisions.

The Role:

As a Collections Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting cash flow, reducing overdue debt and delivering an outstanding customer financial services experience. Managing a portfolio of customer accounts across Spain and Portugal, you will drive timely collections, resolve payment disputes and build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. Working closely with Credit, Sales and Customer Service teams, you'll use data, insight and technology to improve payment performance while supporting business growth.

Your Impact:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collection and reducing overdue balances.
• Build strong relationships with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate solutions and support positive commercial outcomes.
• Identify payment trends and potential risks, providing recommendations that support sound credit and collections decisions.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service and Credit teams to resolve disputes and remove barriers to payment.
• Support the adoption of digital tools and self-service platforms that enhance the customer experience and improve collections efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and cash performance.

We Would Love to Hear from People With:

• Experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit control or a similar customer-facing finance environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the confidence to handle challenging conversations professionally.
• Experience working with ERP systems, collections tools or customer account management platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyse data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Experience working across multiple teams and functions to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English are required, with Spanish being a valuable additional language.
