Ein führendes digitales Unternehmen in Barcelona sucht einen Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) zur Verwaltung von Google Cloud-Umgebungen und zur Unterstützung der Entwicklungsteams. Sie werden Kubernetes-Cluster aufbauen und verbessern, eine sichere Cloud-Umgebung gewährleisten und an Projekten zur Automatisierung von Deployments arbeiten. Die Rolle erfordert 5+ Jahre Erfahrung im Cloud Engineering sowie gute Kenntnisse in Kubernetes und Terraform. Flexibles Arbeiten wird angeboten.

Formación

• 5+ Jahre Erfahrung im Cloud Engineering oder DevOps.
• Nachgewiesene praktische Erfahrung mit Google Cloud, AWS oder Azure.
• Starkes Wissen über Kubernetes, Terraform / OpenTofu und moderne CI/CD-Pipelines.
• Erfahrung mit Linux, Shell-Scripting und APIs / Netzwerktechnologien.
• Verständnis von Sicherheits-, Überwachungs- und Identitätsmanagementkonzepten.
• Idealerweise Entwicklungshintergrund mit Fokus auf Entwicklererfahrung.
• Kooperationsbereitschaft mit ausgeprägten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
• Fließend in Englisch (Deutsch von Vorteil).

Responsabilidades

• Verantwortung für unsere Google Cloud-Plattform-Umgebungen.
• Aufbau und Wartung von Kubernetes-Clustern.
• Einrichtung und Verbesserung der Kernplattform-Infrastruktur.
• Gewährleisten einer sicheren und zuverlässigen Cloud-Umgebung.
• Unterstützung der Entwicklungsteams bei der Bereitstellung und Überwachung ihrer Anwendungen.
• Entwicklung und Optimierung unserer Infrastructure as Code-Setup.

Aufgaben

• You will take ownership of our Google Cloud Platform environments and ensure smooth integration between internal and partner data centers.
• You will build and maintain Kubernetes clusters as the foundation of our development and production environments.
• You will set up and continuously improve the core platform infrastructure, keeping developer experience and scalability in mind.
• You will ensure a secure and reliable cloud environment, including access management, identity control (e.g. Keycloak), and network protection.
• You will support development teams in deploying, scaling, and monitoring their applications in the cloud – from setup to incident response.
• You will enable communication between services across cloud and on-premise systems.
• You will develop and optimise our Infrastructure as Code setup with Crossplane, Terraform or OpenTofu to automate and standardise deployments.
• You will contribute to initiatives around monitoring, observability, and secret management (e.g. Google Secret Manager, Cloudflare, ArgoCD).
• You will collaborate closely with teams across Development, Security, and Architecture to drive our overall cloud and platform strategy forward.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform / OpenTofu, and modern CI / CD pipelines (e.g. ArgoCD, GitLab CI, or CircleCI).
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting and APIs / networking fundamentals.
• Understanding security, monitoring, and Identity & Access management concepts.
• Ideally, a development background – you think like a developer and build with developer experience in mind.
• Collaborative mindset with great communication skills – you enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus).
