Changan Europe is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer in Madrid to manage public cloud infrastructure, ensure high availability of connected vehicle platform applications, and handle maintenance, incidents, and technical support. The role requires strong Linux, databases, containerization, monitoring with Prometheus, and English fluency.

The successful candidate will work with cross‑functional teams to improve operational efficiency and service quality, while aligning with HA and observability

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering.
• Several years in operations or related role.
• Proficiency with public clouds (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud).
• Strong Linux, databases (MySQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Monitoring with Prometheus; HA design, observability, and process excellence.
• Experience in project/product management or app development knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English; another European language is a plus.

About us

Changan Automobile, one of China’s leading automotive manufacturers, is accelerating its global expansion and strengthening its presence in Europe. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Madrid office. This position will play a key role in managing our public cloud infrastructure and ensuring the high availability and stability of our connected vehicle platform applications, while handling daily maintenance, system changes, incident management, and technical support.

Responsibilitie

• sCloud Infrastructure Management: manage public cloud resources including servers, networks, databases, and container clusters; ensure optimal performance and security of cloud-based infrastructur
• eApplication Stability: monitor and maintain the stability of our connected vehicle platform applications; implement measures to ensure high availability and fault toleranc
• eDaily Maintenance: perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, issue resolution, emergency response, and technical support; document and report on all maintenance activities and incident
• sProcess Improvement: contribute to the development and refinement of operational workflows and best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and service qualit
• yIncident Management: respond promptly to system outages or performance issues; conduct thorough investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenc
• eTechnical Support: provide technical assistance and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders; stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancement
