Canonical is seeking an experienced Product Manager for Cloud Native initiatives. Lead product strategy, influence engineering and design, and drive market-driven decisions across distributed systems.

The role emphasizes openness, security, and delivering high-impact software in a globally distributed company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to open source ecosystem initiatives, and help scale products from concept to delivery while aligning with Canonical’s vision

Formación

• Seasoned product management experience in technical domains related to the usage and/or the management of open source software in the cloud native landscape.
• Experience designing or managing software operations for large-scale distributed systems.
• Good understanding of cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker containers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise security and compliance requirements in software operations.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive execution.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the lifecycle of the product development by reviewing priorities and goals for the products you are responsible for.
• Work closely with engineering leads to oversee the product development process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges, align on priorities, and maintain business execution.
• Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Develop your team through coaching, mentoring and training.
• Establish KPIs for project status reporting and communicate them across Canonical.
• Drive execution excellence through continuous feedback and improvement.
• Contribute to strategies to create and maintain high performing teams.
• Support the sales team by reviewing customer feedback and participating in meetings.
