Canonical is seeking a product manager to lead the desktop product development lifecycle from discovery to go‑to‑market. This role is remote within the EMEA region and requires collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver world‑class open source software.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and define product vision while engaging with the Ubuntu user community and silicon vendor partners.

Formación

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university.
• Understanding of Linux and the wider open source software community.
• Understanding of computer architecture, enterprise IT, cloud or devices.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 4 times a year.
• Curiosity and continuous learning.
• Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem solving.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing the priorities and goals for your product.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
• Address challenges, align on priorities, enable informed decisions, and keep business execution on track.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to develop go‑to‑market strategies and provide training.
