Formación

• 5+ years of experience in broadcast engineering, media technology, television production, or related media environments.
• Hands-on experience with media production and broadcast systems, including video, audio, contribution, distribution, monitoring, or newsroom workflows.
• Applicable knowledge of cloud technologies and media workflows, with experience supporting or deploying solutions on platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with streaming and IP-based media technologies, including protocols such as SRT, RIST, LRT; familiarity with NDI, DANTE is advantageous.
• Demonstrated project delivery skills, including managing multiple initiatives, vendors, stakeholders, and priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams; travel internationally.

• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies in broadcast, cloud, AI, streaming, and media operations.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to accelerate problem resolution and automate workflows.

Partnering with engineering, editorial, operations, and product teams, you'll modernize media workflows, drive innovation, and improve how content is acquired, managed, and distributed worldwide.

About The Role

• Evaluate, design, and deploy media production, broadcast, and content delivery solutions using a combination of commercial platforms and internally developed applications.
• Lead the implementation and modernization of broadcast and streaming workflows, including IPTV, cloud‑based media services, and emerging contribution and distribution technologies.
• Contribute to the evolution of cloud‑based media workflows and services by assessing and integrating scalable media workflows that improve operational efficiency, resiliency, and business agility.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across Editorial, Engineering, DevOps, Support, Real Estate, Finance, and Technology teams to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.
• Manage technical projects and vendor engagements, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, communication, risk management, and reporting.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies in the areas of broadcast, cloud, AI, streaming, and media operations to support Reuters' innovation strategy.
• Utilize AI‑enabled tools and approaches to accelerate problem resolution, automate workflows, improve knowledge management, and enhance operational effectiveness.

About You

• 5+ years of experience in broadcast engineering, media technology, television production, or related media environments.
• Hands‑on experience with media production and broadcast systems, including video, audio, contribution, distribution, monitoring, or newsroom workflows.
• Applicable knowledge of cloud technologies and media workflows, with experience supporting or deploying solutions on platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with streaming and IP‑based media technologies, including protocols such as SRT, RIST, LRT, etc.; familiarity with NDI, DANTE and related technologies is advantageous.
• Demonstrated project delivery skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives, vendors, stakeholders, and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams in a global organization.
• A passion for innovation and continuous learning, including an interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance media operations and business processes.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
