Schwarz Digits is seeking a platform engineer to develop and improve our Cloud Foundry platform, ensuring functionality, scalability, and high performance.

You will contribute to open-source projects, integrate smoothly with STACKIT services, and share ownership of deployed services with the product team.

The role involves day-to-day platform operations and L3 support during business hours, with night-time on-call rotation for incident escalations.

Competenze

• Extensive programming experience, preferably in Go.
• Familiar with professional software development methods.
• Years of experience in software architecture design, including patterns, scalability, resilience.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and automated software delivery pipelines.
• Experience operating scalable cloud platforms in production.
• English communication in international agile teams.
• Bonus: Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes Operator Pattern.

Mansioni

• Develop and improve Cloud Foundry platform, ensuring functionality and scalability.
• Ensure high software quality and performance through testing and code reviews.
• Provide seamless integration of the platform into STACKIT services, creating a user-friendly platform.
• Contribute actively to open-source projects, including the BOSH Cloud Provider Interface for STACKIT IaaS.
• Own deployed services together with the product team (you build it, you run it).
• Handle day-to-day platform operations and L3 support during business hours; participate in night-time on-call rotation.
