Open Digital Services busca un Cloud Architecture Engineer (AWS) para diseñar y operar la infraestructura AWS que sustenta el Datalake y el ecosistema de datos en Madrid o desde España, de forma remota dentro del país.

Se valoran 4+ años en Cloud Architecture, experiencia sólida en AWS y en plataformas de datos, capacidad de comunicación con equipos diversos y conocimiento de banca/fintech. Se ofrece role full-time y entorno colaborativo.

Formación

• 4+ años de experiencia en Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering o Platform Engineering con AWS en producción.
• Experiencia sólida en entornos AWS y plataformas nativas en producción.
• Experiencia en observabilidad, gestión de incidentes y entornos complejos con equipos multifuncionales.
• Experiencia en banca/fintech o entornos regulados.
• Experiencia con Data Lakes o plataformas analíticas.
• Inglés profesional; español fluido es deseable.
• Conocimiento de servicios AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experiencia con IaC (CloudFormation, CDK).
• Conocimiento de seguridad, redes y buenas prácticas operativas en AWS.
• Experiencia con servicios de datos AWS (Glue, Athena, EMR, Redshift).
• Conocimiento de SQS, SNS, Kinesis, VPC, Route 53, SG, NACLs.
• Programación en Python y automatización de tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, implementar, operar y evolucionar la infraestructura en AWS para el Datalake y el ecosistema de datos del proyecto.
• Traducir requerimientos de negocio y técnicos en soluciones nativas de la nube.
• Trabajar estrechamente con Data Engineering, Seguridad, Operations y Product para entregar soluciones confiables.
• Garantizar disponibilidad, escalabilidad y excelencia operativa de entornos productivos.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE Open Digital Services is looking for a Cloud Architecture Engineer based out of Madrid, or remotely within Spain. As a Cloud Architecture Engineer within the Data Management department, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, operating and evolving the AWS cloud infrastructure that supports the ODS Datalake and its cloud‑based data ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining scalable, secure and maintainable cloud solutions while ensuring the reliability, availability and operational excellence of production environments. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Security, Operations and Product teams to translate business and technical requirements into cloud‑native solutions. This role combines cloud architecture, platform engineering and operational responsibilities, requiring strong knowledge of AWS services, automation, infrastructure as code and data platform technologies. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Professional Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Platform Engineering, with hands‑on experience designing, implementing and operating AWS-based solutions in production environments.
• Required: Strong experience working in AWS environments and supporting cloud‑native platforms in production.
• Required: Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, observability platforms and production incident management.
• Required: Experience working in complex technical environments with Engineering, Architecture, Security and Operations teams.
• Required: Experience in banking, fintech or regulated environments.
• Preferred: Experience supporting large-scale data platforms, Data Lakes or analytics platforms.

Language

• Professional English. Required
• Fluent Spanish. Preferred

Hard Skills

• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM and CloudWatch. Required
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure deployment and management. Required
• Experience troubleshooting, monitoring and supporting production AWS environments. Required
• Strong understanding of security, networking and operational best practices within AWS. Required
• Experience operating and supporting Data Lakes and cloud-based data platforms. Required
• Knowledge of AWS Lake Formation, data governance and access management concepts. Preferred
• Experience with AWS data services such as Glue, Athena, EMR and Redshift. Preferred
• Familiarity with orchestration and workflow services such as Step Functions and EventBridge. Preferred
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS and Kinesis. Preferred
• Knowledge of networking services including VPC, Route 53, Security Groups and NACLs. Preferred
• Experience developing automation scripts and operational tooling using Python. Preferred
• Experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) for infrastructure as code and cloud automation. Preferred
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Preferred
