A leading academic institution is seeking a Clerk I/II for their Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care. The role involves providing finance, HR, procurement, and administration support, along with managing academic programme matters. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential. The University of Hong Kong – Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (22500) – Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant) (Ref.: 533401). Full‑time, two‑year fixed‑term contract with contract‑end gratuity and university contribution to a retirement benefits scheme (up to 10% of basic salary). Possible renewal.
Clerk I (Senior Executive Assistant) – Provides the above responsibilities, and additionally:
Clerk II (Executive Assistant) – Focuses on academic programme matters for the Department, assists in HR, finance and procurement, liaises and coordinates with internal units and external organisations, assists in organising Department activities and events, and performs other duties as assigned.
Applicants should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years' relevant work experience in handling academic programmes, preferably with experience in finance matters. Experience in handling postgraduate programmes would be an advantage. Candidates must have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good computer proficiency (especially Microsoft Office), strong organisational and communication skills, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Executive Assistant.
