A culinary service company in Madrid is seeking a Culinary Specialist to lead culinary R&D and uphold high standards in Chinese cuisine. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in high-end kitchens and a strong knowledge of Chinese gastronomy. This role requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of HACCP standards is essential, and fluency in Spanish or English is preferred.

Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within high-end kitchens.
  • Extensive knowledge of Chinese gastronomy across all regions, techniques, and concepts.
  • Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of Spanish or English is preferred but not essential.

Reporting to the Executive Chef of B&I and the Culinary Director of the company in Spain.

  • Maintain consistency and creativity in food display and preparation.
  • Communicate with clients to adapt dishes to their specific preferences when necessary.
Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Chinese gastronomy across all regions, techniques, and concepts.
  • Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
  • Creativity, team leadership, schedule flexibility, and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong capacity for innovation.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of Spanish or English is preferred but not essential.
