Labhouse in Barcelona is seeking a UI/UX Director to set the design vision across our app portfolio. You will partner with the CEO and Head of Product to define standards, processes, and the craft level that differentiates our mobile products.

You will build the design team, own the design system, guide end-to-end from concept to final pixels, and tie design choices to activation, retention, and store performance while exploring AI-native workflows.

Formación

• Solid track record in product, UX/UI, or visual design, including leading design teams or a design function.
• Experience leading the design of consumer mobile apps from scratch to scale with measurable business impact.
• A portfolio showing exceptional craft and strategic thinking from concepts to shipped products.
• Artistic eye for color, composition, typography and motion; able to lead and review assets.
• Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; hands-on capability.
• Deep knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines; ability to go beyond them for distinctive experiences.

Responsabilidades

• Design vision and strategy for the portfolio; define UI/UX principles and quality bar at leadership level.
• 0-1 launches: lead the experience for new apps from concept to launch with research and validation.
• Craft and production quality: set standards for UI, illustrations, icons, motion and store assets.
• Measurable design impact: work with Product and Data to turn onboarding, paywall and store assets into gains.
• Design system at scale: own a portfolio-wide design system for faster launches with consistency.
• AI-native design workflows: introduce AI tools into research, ideation, asset creation and prototyping.
• Build and scale design teams: hiring, mentoring and developing senior talent.
