CAE Defence & Security – Indo-Pacific is seeking an CF-18 Operational Specialist (Pilot) to provide technical, flight, and operational guidance as part of software development and testing activities. You will serve as SME for the SESC team and support CF-18 PMV OFP and training development in Mirabel.

The role requires fighter pilot SME experience, strong English communication, and the ability to obtain NATO Level II clearance. Onsite work in Mirabel, QC is required.

Formación

• Royal Canadian Air Force Pilot or equivalent (Fast Jet).
• Technical experience as a fighter pilot (SME).
• Ability to obtain and maintain NATO Secret clearance (Level II).
• Legally permitted to work in Canada.
• Willingness to work onsite in Mirabel, QC.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical, flight, and operational expertise during software development and testing.
• Act as SME for the Systems Engineering Support Contract (SESC) team for courseware.
• Support CF-18 PMV OFP and training development in Mirabel.
• Develop and review software change requirements with the customer.
• Create and maintain test plans and perform verification and validation tests.
• Conduct operational testing on avionics benches, simulators, and actual aircraft; report anomalies.
