CAE in Mirabel, QC is seeking a CF-18 Operational Specialist (Pilot) to provide technical, flight and operational expertise across software development, testing, and courseware production.

The role requires fighter pilot SME experience, strong English communication, and ability to work onsite. You will develop and review software change requirements, test plans, and support training content and assessments. This regular position offers flexible schedules and attractive employee benefits.

Formación

• Minimum: Royal Canadian Air Force Pilot or equivalent (Fast Jet).
• Experience as a fighter pilot (SME).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong English communication (written and spoken).
• Ability to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Clearance and NATO Secret clearance.
• Legally permitted to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid Work Permit).
• Willingness to work onsite in Mirabel, QC.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical, flight, and operational expertise during software development and testing.
• Act as SME for the SESC team supporting courseware production.
• Support CF‑18 PMV OFP and training development in Mirabel.
• Develop and review software change requirements with the customer.

Educación

Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent

Aircrew instructor qualification (AIMB)
