Job summary

Hireroo Ltd in Barcelona seeks a Senior Certification Engineer to own regulatory compliance for advanced electronic hardware, leading testing and certification before market release.

You will shape hardware design early, coordinate external labs, review schematics, and drive compliance across IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 with cross-functional teams. A strong background in EMC/ESD and international approvals is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of regulatory compliance experience.
• Electronics hardware background.
• Experience with IEC, EN and UL 62368-1.
• Experience managing external certification laboratories and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Own EMC, ESD, safety and regulatory certification

• Identify applicable standards and testing requirements
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, grounding and shielding
• Provide design for compliance recommendations
• Run internal pre compliance testing
• Perform radiated and conducted emissions testing

Our partner is looking for a Certification Engineer to own regulatory compliance for advanced electronic hardware, covering EMC, ESD, product safety and international market approvals.

This role combines technical compliance ownership with practical engineering input. You will help shape the hardware design early, lead testing and certification activities, and ensure products meet regulatory requirements before market release.

Responsibilities

• Own EMC, ESD, safety and regulatory certification

• Define certification plans by market and product

• CISPR 32 / 35 experience

• FCC Part 15 knowledge

• Experience managing external certification laboratories

• Experience leading complete certification programmes

• Ability to review schematics and PCB layouts

• Strong design for compliance knowledge

• Experience preparing regulatory and market documentation
