ESTEVE, a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Barcelona, seeks an FP&A Director for the CDMO business. You will lead strategic financial planning, performance management and decision support across ESTEVE’s CDMO operations.

As a key finance business partner, you will support growth, investment decisions, cost optimization and profitability across an international manufacturing network, ensuring governance and value creation in a complex environment.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Significant FP&A leadership experience with CDMO/pharma or chemicals in multinational environments.
• Strong exposure to manufacturing finance and operations partnering.

Responsabilidades

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning for the CDMO business.
• Oversee monthly financial performance reviews and variances.
• Provide financial support to pricing, ensuring profitability and margin objectives.
• Drive analysis to support investments, sourcing and cost optimization.
• Develop and implement cost-control tools and global reporting standards.
• Define KPIs and track business cases for strategic projects.
• Mentor and develop the CDMO FP&A team.
• Ensure end-to-end view of operations with risks and improvement initiatives.

Mission

The FP&A Director for the CDMO business is responsible for leading strategic financial planning, performance management, and decision support across ESTEVE’s global CDMO operations.

This role acts as a key finance business partner to the CDMO leadership team, supporting growth, operational excellence, investment decisions, and long-range value creation across a complex international manufacturing network.

The position plays a critical role in helping ESTEVE scale its CDMO platform globally while maintaining strong profitability, capital discipline, and customer-centric execution.

Role

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes for the CDMO business.
• Oversee monthly financial performance review, including analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast and key variances.
• Provide financial support to commercial team in the preparation and evaluation of customer quotations, ensuring profitability, cost transparency and alignment with CDMO pricing and margin objectives.
• Drive financial analysis and provide strategic insights to support investment, sourcing and cost optimization decisions.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve cost control tools, methodologies and reporting standards globally.
• Identify operational and financial performance levers and define relevant KPIs.
• Build and track business cases for investments and strategic projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to management on performance improvement, risk mitigation and growth opportunities.
• Ensure an end-to-end view of operations, including risks, results and improvement initiatives.
• Define functional objectives and establish policies and procedures to support a robust financial infrastructure.
• Lead, mentor and develop the CDMO FP&A Team

Required Studies

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering (required).
• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance (preferred).

Other specialized knowledge

• Strong knowledge of SAP and Business Intelligence tools
• Strong understanding of manufacturing economics and cost structures

Languages

• Fluent English required (Spanish highly valued)

Professional experience

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience
• Significant FP&A leadership experience with CDMO/Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals & Industrial multinational environments
• Strong exposure to manufacturing finance and operations partnering (cost controlling)
• Experience in international matrix organizations
• Exposure to transformation, scaling environments
