Placements24 is seeking reliable Catering Staff to join our team for events in and around Queenstown. This hybrid, part-time role involves food prep, event setup, serving guests, and maintaining a clean service area.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in catering and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering excellent guest experiences. Ideal candidates are flexible, communicative, and comfortable working weekends.

Formación

• Previous experience in a hospitality or catering role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight.
• Understanding of basic hygiene and food handling principles.

Responsabilidades

• Assist chefs in preparing and plating food items according to established standards.
• Set up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of service areas, kitchen, and event spaces.
• Handle guest requests and inquiries courteously and professionally.
• Support with breakdown and cleanup after events.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
