Joybuy, a growing e-commerce player, is seeking a proactive Category Manager to lead FMCG assortments for Spanish and EU consumers. You will shape category strategies, build supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise range, pricing and promotions.

The ideal candidate has FMCG procurement or merchandising experience, strong English and Spanish, and excellent analytical and communication skills to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Procurement, Merchandising or buying experience within FMCG/Food. The ideal candidate will have eCommerce experience in FMCG categories.
• Excellent written and spoken level of both English and Spanish language
• Understanding of consumers, with market insights and purchasing expertise.
• Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking.
• Effective communicator with a passion for continuous learning.
• Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organisational goals.

Responsabilidades

• Support the end-to-end category management process within FMCG product assortments.
• Support the category leader develop and nurture strategic partnership with national and local supply partners.
• Analyse key metrics and range gaps to derive strategies on how to improve supplier and category performance.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Assist on developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, including pricing structures and promotional campaigns.
• Develop long-term category strategies which are fit for the local market to ensure customer acquisition and retention as well as growth in key category KPIs.
• Cross departmental engagement with supply chain, app development and marketing to deliver a best-in-class service to our customers.

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Category Manager to support build our FMCG assortment focussing non-food FMCG assortments providing the best selection of items for our Spanish and EU consumers at the best price. The ideal candidate will have experience in category management and building meaningful supplier relationships ensuring the optimum product offering is developed for our customers. This ole offers a unique opportunity to build and shape category strategies and contribute to the growth of a new and dynamic e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities:
