H.Essers in Catalonia seeks a Transport Officer to plan and manage distribution transport orders, coordinating with warehouses and drivers to ensure timely deliveries. The role requires a Vocational Education and Training qualification in Logistics and Transport, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to handle unexpected situations.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, distribution, logistics or operational management is advantageous.
• Knowledge of English is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage and plan distribution transport orders in the Catalonia area.
• Register and manage customer transport orders in IT systems via EDI.
• Carry out daily operational control of the distribution fleet and monitor KPIs and costs.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing goods in the cross-dock area with warehouse teams and drivers.
• Maintain communication with customers, suppliers, drivers and internal departments.
• Identify and propose solutions to minimise operational issues.
