Se requiere mínimo 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo de negocios en el sector de telecomunicaciones y éxito en la negociación de contratos. Formación

  • Mínimo de 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo de negocios o gestión de cuentas.
  • Éxito comprobado en la negociación de contratos internacionales.
  • Fuerte comprensión de modelos de negocios de MNO, MVNO y MVNE.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a fast-growing tech start-up transforming how travelers stay connected to the internet abroad. With a diverse team of over 500 professionals, they help millions of travelers stay online across more than 200 global destinations. As part of their international expansion, they are looking for a motivated Account Manager to manage and grow strategic relationships with carrier partners.

ROLE

Our client is seeking a Business Developer – Carrier Partnerships (Africa & Middle East) to lead strategic business development efforts with mobile network operators across the region. This role focuses on securing innovative, high-value agreements with new carrier partners under complex enterprise-level negotiations, enhancing the global eSIM network and strengthening long-term strategic relationships.

You will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, closing partnership agreements, and working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing collaboration with carriers worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Partnership Development : Proactively identify and engage with new mobile carrier partners in Africa and the Middle East, using your knowledge of eSIM and GSMA technologies to expand the partner ecosystem in alignment with the carrier relations strategy.
  • Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations to finalize agreements that optimize pricing, service features, and integration terms with mobile operators.
  • Operational Coordination : Work closely with internal teams to operationalize new carrier partnerships, ensuring timely onboarding and efficient maintenance of agreements.
  • Market & Performance Analysis : Monitor and evaluate market trends, carrier performance, and feature integration opportunities to drive product and supplier portfolio improvements.
  • Process Optimization : Ensure smooth, end-to-end carrier relationship management, from initial contact and contract execution to renewal, with a focus on minimizing inefficiencies.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, account management, or carrier relations within the telecom sector, preferably within the eSIM ecosystem.
  • Proven success in negotiating and managing international contracts with mobile network operators.
  • Strong understanding of MNO, MVNO, and MVNE business models.
  • Experience with business performance analysis and strategic project execution.
  • Fluent English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, international, and multicultural environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on results.
PREFERRED
  • Prior experience working with mobile carriers or telecom providers.
  • Familiarity with eSIM and GSMA technologies.
  • International work experience or exposure to global markets.
