Una institución de investigación de energía en España busca un ingeniero para unirse al departamento de ingeniería y participar en la operación del acelerador LIPAc. Se requiere un máster en física y experiencia en análisis de datos. La remuneración anual es de 35,008.88 EUR brutos, con un contrato permanente y un periodo de prueba de 6 meses.

Formación

  • Experiencia en análisis de datos experimentales y simulaciones.

Responsabilidades

  • Analizar datos experimentales para optimizar la operación del acelerador.
  • Realizar simulaciones de dinámica de haz.
  • Colaborar en la mejora de sistemas de diagnóstico.
  • Apoyar el desarrollo de rutinas automatizadas.
  • Contribuir a documentación técnica.
  • Participar en estancias prolongadas en Japón para la operación del LIPAc.

Job Description

You will join the IFMIF-DONES Engineering Department to participate directly in activities related to particle beam operation and diagnostics. Your work will involve both analysis and simulation as well as work in the plant environment, using actual accelerator instrumentation. A proactive and decisive attitude is expected, with the ability to detect problems, propose improvements, and work in coordination with different technical teams. You will contribute to the validation of technologies and operating modes relevant to IFMIF-DONES by participating in the operation and maintenance of the Linear IFMIF Prototype Accelerator (LIPAc) in Rokkasho-mura, Japan.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze experimental data to optimize accelerator operation.
  • Perform beam dynamics simulations for planning and diagnostic analysis.
  • Collaborate in the improvement of diagnostic systems such as BPMs, ACCT/DCCT, FCT, wire/slit scanners, Faraday cups, emittance devices, and their integration with accelerator protection systems.
  • Support the development of automated routines for calibration and operation of measurement devices.
  • Participate in the validation of instrumentation under long pulse and high power operating conditions.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and the improvement of operating tools.
  • Participate in extended stays for the commissioning, maintenance, and operation of the LIPAc accelerator in Japan.

Contract duration: Permanent

Annual basic remuneration distributed over 14 payments: 35,008.88 EUR (gross salary)

Annual basic remuneration in accordance with the salary tables in force at the date of publication of the call. If any salary increase is applied to those tables after the date of publication, such an increase shall be applied at the time of formalizing the contract corresponding to the position.
